Our Ministers
Earl
Wilkerson
has been
serving the Holiday Park Church of Christ as
Senior Minister for more than 20 years. He is a
native of
Cook County, Georgia, and a
1954 graduate of Cook County High School. He and his wife, Jean, have raised
five children. After high school, Earl went to work at the Valdosta Daily Times
Newspaper. After receiving an invitation to the Central Avenue Church of Christ Vacation
Bible School in 1963, Earl became a Christian. He attended David Lipscomb
College (now Lipscomb University) and graduated in 1970 with a double major in
Speech and Bible, receiving the B.C. Goodpasture Award for the
Ministerial Student with the highest grade point average. From 1966-1970, Earl
served as Minister for the Corinth Church of Christ in Rutherford County,
Tennessee. In 1971, Earl began serving four years as a missionary within a
successful program to establish a congregation of the churches of Christ in
Dunedin, New Zealand. While in New Zealand, he also served as an Instructor for
the Otago Bible Chair, a New Zealand institution for training church leaders.
Earl made six returns to New Zealand between 1974 and 1990 to encourage,
strengthen and help re-vitalize churches there. After spending a year serving
as minister for the Okolona Church of Christ in Louisville, KY, Earl and his
family moved to the Pittsburgh area, and in 1975 Earl began preaching at the
Whitehall Church of Christ. In 1982, he began his ministry here with the
Holiday Park Church of Christ, when the congregation was still very small. Earl
also serves as Director for Junior Week of Camp Concern, an area Christian camp
ministry. He has served on the Board of Directors for Camp Concern since 1975.

Michael
Casey has served as a minister for the Holiday Park
Church of Christ since the summer of 1996. Born and raised in Pittsburgh,
PA, Michael graduated with honors from Central Catholic High School in 1995.
Michael met his wife, Shauna, at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, where he
graduated with a B.A. in Religion. In 1998, Michael and Shauna served in a
mission effort to St. Petersburg, Russia where they taught English through the
Let’s Start Talking program. After graduation from Pepperdine, Michael and
Shauna moved back to Pittsburgh in 1999 to begin full-time ministry with the
Holiday Park Church of Christ. Michael established the
CrossWalk Youth Ministry which focuses on strengthening the faith of
students and reaching out to others with Christ’s love. He is also a member of
R.S.V.P., a Christian drama group that performs for students across the
tri-state area. Michael is currently working toward a Master of Divinity degree
from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and also serves as a Chaplain Candidate in
the United States Army Reserve. With their daughters, Abigail and Gloria, and
son, Michael, Michael and Shauna consider themselves both busy and
blessed.
